Maurice L. Haywood, Managing Director, Senior Portfolio Manager, joined Brown Capital Management in 2000 and has been in the financial services industry since 1987. Prior to this Mr. Haywood was a Partner & Investment Analyst at Holland Capital Management and an Assistant Vice President at the First National Bank of Chicago. He is a CFA charterholder.
Maurice earned a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and Marketing at J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management (Northwestern University) and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Accounting and Finance at Morehouse College. Maurice is a Member of the CFA Institute, Baltimore CFA Society, Inc., and a Member of the Board of Trustees of the Roland Park Country School.
